Zinkwazi is located within a protected conservancy and thus boasts a vast number of bird species, wildlife and indigenous plants. There are often sightings of dolphins playing in the bay, mongoose, duiker, bushbuck, owls, trumpeter hornbills, crowned eagles, palm-nut vultures and the ever-adorable bush babies.
